Homemade Mini Pizzas (For Babies & Toddlers!)

Homemade Mini Pizzas (For Babies & Toddlers!)

Hello! 👋 This is a recipe that is always on rotation because Zoha loves pizza in all shapes, forms, and sizes lol! 🍕

Pizza was the fast food Zoha ever tried and I guess she just loves the variety of flavors a single slice offers.

So, keep it cheap and yummy I came up with this recipe that requires very easy-to-find ingredients and you can even make it in your microwave!

This recipe is great for babies who are just starting their BLW journey and even toddles and adults!

Basically, the recipe is best for babies 6 months and above!

Without further ado, let's dive into the recipe! 👩🏻‍🍳

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 pieces of garlic bread or regular mini buns (You can get both at Sunridge)

- 2 tbsp. (or as needed) pizza tomato sauce (I make mine at home and the recipe is easy)

- 2 tbsp. chicken or beef qeema (mince) (cooked the way you like)

- 2 tbsp. shredded cheese (I use Achha cheese - it's affordable and yummy!)

- Sprinkle of oregano powder (optional)

METHOD:

STEP 1:

Combine the cooked mince and tomato sauce in one bowl, mix well.

STEP 2:

Spread 1 tbsp. mince-sauce mixture on each bread and top it off with the cheese and oregano.

COOKING TECHNIQUE:

OPTION 1: AIR-FRYER METHOD

Set your air fryer to the highest and bake for 5 minutes.

OPTION 2: MICROWAVE

Microwave the mini pizzas for 3 minutes or till the cheese is nice and melty (you won't get the same charred look but it will still taste yummy)

OPTION 3: ON THE STOVE

Not everyone has an air-fryer or a microwave so for those of you who have a stove, place the pan on the stove on the lowest flame, once the pan is hot put the pizzas on it, and let it slow-cook till the cheese is melted and the pizzas are warm.

HOW TO SERVE THE PIZZAS?

6 MONTHS+

Long strips, easy for them to grab and reduces chances of choking on food.

9 MONTHS+

Bite-sized pieces.

12 MONTHS+

As desired; strips or bite-sized pieces, anything works!
