Disclaimer:

  • Make sure your baby has been introduced to all the mentioned ingredients separately to ensure your baby has no allergies.

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 bread slice (any works, we only use bran bread at home)

- 1 egg (Check notes for egg substitute)

- 2 tbsp. cow milk (Check notes for cow milk substitute)

- 1 tsp. garlic powder

- 1 tsp. onion powder

- 1 tsp. white pepper powder

- 1 tsp. paprika powder

- 1 tbsp. oil

METHOD:

STEP 1:

Firstly mix all the wet ingredients, i.e., the egg and milk. Use a plate or a container big enough to place the bread inside for soaking.

STEP 2:

Once the wet ingredients are combined, add all the dry ingredients, and mix till combined.

STEP 3:

Now place the toast on the mixture and make sure the bread soaks in the mixture. Then flip the bread over and let the mixture soak in till there is no mixture left.

STEP 4:

Heat pan on low heat, spray any oil of choice, and fry the bread slice till it cooks properly. Make sure to cook till it's completely done.

STEP 5:

Serve it to your baby! (Check notes on how to serve based on age)

NOTES

EGGS

If your baby is allergic to eggs or you haven't introduced eggs yet, you can use plain yoghurt in this recipe.

MILK

DO NOT GIVE COW MILK TO BABIES UNDER THE AGE OF ONE.

You can replace the cow milk with a butter water mixture. Take 1 tbsp. of butter and 1 tbsp. of water, mix together, and add it to the batter.
